This stout looks like soft dookie and some will say it smells and tastes like it too. If you like a thick, creamy and utterly vanillalicious stout you’ll like this one. If you don’t, get yourself something else instead.

Pours black, small grey head. Smell is roasty, taste is full, roasty, vanilla, mild sweetness. Very nice! easy drinkable, especially for the abv. Bit low on the mouthfeel .

Nice beige head quickly dissappearing. Aroma of vanilla, chocolate, coffee, caramel, dark fruits, cocoa, roasted malts. Semi dry with alcoholic finish. Some chocolate, coffee, licorice. Carbonation is far too high. Body is medium. Sharp, alcoholic bitter is really annoying. Expected more from this beer. Average Imperial Stout with much better aroma than taste.

Bottle (5 years old!): Literally black, small and stable creamy tanned head; solid nose of vanilla, bitter chocolate, roasted malt and dried berries, accompanied by a certain acidity; solid bitter-sweet flavour, full bodied, creamy MF; lingering fruity-roasty and chocolatey finish. Great pleasure...

330ml bottle from Brewery Creek. Pours an opaque very dark brown (almost black) with a brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, leather, some cocoa and grassy notes. Taste is very smooth, slightly sweet with roasted malt, chocolate, liquorice, leather, slight cheesy and boozy notes. Roasted malt aftertaste. The beer is not very rich, but it is still pleasant.

Deep black with medium brown head. Aroma is amarena, dark chocolate and some sweet stuff. Taste is lots of well rounded bittersweetness. A little spicy hook in the finish. Smooth and full bodied. Nice!

This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a finger’s worth of off white to tan foamy sustaining head. Thin lacing glosses around the glass nicely.
The aroma starts roasty with a nice sweet dark fruitiness (raisins to plums) sliding in for a nice balance. Clean coffee bean bitterness flows underneath.
The flavor allows a nice sweet to roasty flow of sweet dark fruit to sly roastiness, mostly balanced at a good behavior to accommodate a fantastic sweet to roasty sort of sticky yet \"dressed\" sort of wet aftertaste leading on into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionable to sipping quality to it. Carbonation is super low, whoah, yeah, damn low, I want to say this is close to cloying because carbonation has died off so much.
Overall, well, though carbonation has died off, yes, I believe this to be a fairly old bottle, still, the aroma and flavor seems to be on par or at least coming close to above (a bit), I liked it for the most part but perhaps to people drinking this with some age (yes, I think this might get a tad cloying, be aware).

bottle - Black pour, tan head. It smells of dark roast malt, chocolate, and coffee. The flavor is sweet with roast malt, chocolate, and vanilla. It’s full bodied and while it’s on the sweet side all the way to the finish, it’s not too cloying. Very good.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Black body with a thin beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of shoe polish, liquorice and Nutella. Flavour of chocolate, espresso and salted caramel. Thin body with a smooth texture. Light fizz. Thinner and sharper than I was expecting, but it’s very drinkable for the strength.
