Our West Coast inspired India Pale Ale is rich in flavor and abundant in citrus, pine, and floral aromatics created through a wonderful infusion of Citra hops. Completely refreshing with a medium mouth-feel, crisp bitterness, and nearly balanced malt. Finishes dry with a head that creates excellent lacing. Beautifully Nebraskan.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 8/9/2017. Pours slightly hazy deep golden/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus rind, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, mango, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, honey, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6.9%. Overall this is an excellent IPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and quite refreshing to drink; despite the aggressively drying bitter finish. Insanely dank and vibrant hop character; great malt backbone with no residual sweetness. Great mix of Citra and resinous/rindy Columbus hop character. A very enjoyable offering.

Can at C&R Pre-GBBF Tasting 2017. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, oily, brioche, candy, caramel, tangerine, white sugar and orange marmalade. The taste is slick, oily, resinous pine, toffee, caramel, sticky, piss, bread and some orange citrus peel. Medium body, fine carbonation and oily mouth - feel. A reasonable IPA which wouldn't really stand out in a crowd.

Can from The Bottle Shop Canterbury and drunk at home. Dark amber almost a russet colour lasting cream coloured head. It’s actually not too bad. I was expecting a bit of a crystal malt nightmare, but the hops are fine and so are the malts. Some bitterness on the finish. Some caramel flavour. Some pink grapefruit. Mild bitterness, not harsh. A mix of pink grapefruit and fudge. OK to be honest. Not overly sweet but it’s there. Fine.
