Bottle: Hazy, deep golden, small, slowly diminishing loose off-white head; ripe sweet bananas, accompanied by dusty wheat in the nose; sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; the acidity increases in the fruity-sweetish finish, almost no tartness detectable. Decent Hefeweizen, a bit monotonous and sweet....

Bottle. Straw beer with a big whitish head. Light phenolic aroma. Wheat, Spice, clove, and yeast flavors. Medium body. Wheat, light spice, and yeast linger. Too much wheat.

Re-rate 1/26/13: Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks beerandbeyond. BBD 9/12. Estery, wheaty, sweetish. Light spicy notes and quite a bit of bubblegum. Quite nice and refreshing, doesn’t feel too old. 7/3/7/3/14=3.4
(6/31/08) Draught at the brewpub in Bamberg. Cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma of wheat, quite a bit of spices, some fruity esters and notes of citrus. Sweetish fruity flavor with some banana and some spicy notes. Medium-bodied. OK. 6/3/6/3/12=3

Bottle from BevMo. It tried to climb out of the bottle, but I beat it back down - actually took a quick swig. Light hazy gold color with a huge white head. Aromas of wheat, banana, coriander and clove. Lot of clove. Near medium body with coarsely creamy carbonation. Flavor is wheat and clove. Don’t know what happened to the banana. Finish is clove with a hint of citrus. Drinks damn fine.

50 cL bottle, trade with Maria. Pours hazy yellow with a huge, dense and white head. Light estery fruit and wheat aroma. Initial sweet flavour with a mild fruity note. Goesn’t go distinct banana nor bubblegum-ish but has a mellow yeasty note that provides a nice fruity flavour and sufficient sweetness to balance this nicely. Ends with a mellow creamy mouthfeel and light wheaty/yeast flavour. Nice one.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange color with a longlasting white head. Fruity wheat malty aroma with hints of bananas. Sweet mlaty slightly spicy wheat flavor with some hints of bananas. Sweet malty wheat finish with some spicy hints.

Pours clear gold into a Weizen glass. Bright white head recedes faster than expected. Mild clove and yeast aromas. Bubblegum from front to back and rather thin with a sweet, crisp, dry lemon finish. Becomes more cloudy, full and less crisp as it warms.
