Enjoyed in the hotel lobby at Hotel Sinsheim in Sinsheim, Germany. Appearance a bright, cloudy gold with a rich white head. Aroma mostly of ale yeast and light hay/straw. Taste is OK, tastes really light compared to other beers I’ve had on my trip so far, maybe a little bland. It’s not bad, but there are definitely better weiss beers out there, especially considering the region.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A hazy, golden beer with a dense, finger-thick, white head. Quite bananaish aroma, some cloves and lemon. A touch of pale malts too. The flavor has a nice bitterness and some lemony notes. Pale malts and banana too. Medium body, nicely carbonated. The finish is sweet and fruity, balanced by sufficient bitterness. A nice weissbier, tasteful and refreshing. 110415
