When naming this Baltic porter, a collaboration with Tampa’s famed Cigar City Brewing, we opted for Jurata as a nod to a mythological mermaid known to roam the depths of the Baltic Sea, just as energetic yeast used to brew this deep dark beer navigated our fermentation tanks. Dive in and enjoy Jurata’s true-to-style rich and complex flavors!

Draft - Dark chocolate and roast. Jet deep brown with a light brown head. Dark roast and chocolate with a syrupy chocolate bitterness. Roasty and nice, but none of the dark fruit I hoped for.

Draught at Harry’s Hofbrau. Aroma and flavor both have tobacco and fruit (blueberry) mixing well. Moderate roast mixes well. Brown with taupe head. Clear. Tasty.

22oz bottle shared by Ben. Solid. Doesn’t blow me out of the water like a lot of the other CC beers we tried that night. Chalky vanilla chocolate. Classic. Well done. Coffee chocolate tones.

Bottle. Pours black with a thin off white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a bit of dark grains with light roasted malts and a touch of chocolate. Flavor combines chocolate and dark grains with a bit of bite from roasted malts in the finish.
