Slight disappointment, probably just due to high expectations. Very easily drinkable but maybe lacking some depth of the truly great dipas.

Bottle, bb in the bottom is not decipharable (from beergium). Pours amber with whiteish head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, spicy, caramelly, citrusy. Flavor is sweet and bitter, citrus, oranges, pine, caramel. Finish is pine bitter with some noticeable booze. Body is on the thinner side. Overall: I quite like it. What’s with americans and BB-s?! You can print some crap under the bottle, but not readable bottling date or BB?! Point removed from the overall.

This is a great beer. Massive hop flavors and aroma's paired with a firm bitterness.

Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phloen Chit. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is boozy alcohol light citrus fruit. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a crisp, fresh fruity alcohol bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A fine beer but the alcohol is right in your face and hides the real flavours in the beer.

355ml bottle. Pours gold with a nice head. Aroma is sweet caramel and bitter apple. Taste is strong caramel, big peach and apple. Bitterness and sweetness are both huge, but quite nicely balanced. Quite thick and oily. Nice.

Bottle. A- Pine, citrus, malty, alcohol. A- Burnt orange color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Pine, bitter, burnt caramel, malty. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- Decided to try the watermelon version of this first thinking I’ll go from worst to best. Somehow I think I did it backwards. This seemed actually worse. Decent aroma but insanely full of bitter pine and malty caramel. Just too much.

Appearance- hazy amber, a big off-white head which quickly diminishes, leaving a clinging foamy covering. Aroma- lots of tangerine, grapefruit and pine, hops, pineapple, juicy fruit, hints of bready malt. Taste- bitter grapefruit and pineapple juice, hop resin, orange peel, marmalade, long bitter finish, juicy, fizzy and full mouthfeel. Alcohol well hidden. A nice, fruit-forward DIPA.

(Draught at Monk’s American Bar, Stockholm, 1 Feb 2016) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with citrus, orange marmalade, caramel and resin. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of caramel, resin, citrus, marmalade, apricots and a generous resiny/citric bitterness in the finish. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Quite powerful with an impressive hop presence and a touch of alcohol. Very nice.
