(Draught at Monk’s American Bar, Stockholm, 1 Feb 2016) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with citrus, orange marmalade, caramel and resin. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of caramel, resin, citrus, marmalade, apricots and a generous resiny/citric bitterness in the finish. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Quite powerful with an impressive hop presence and a touch of alcohol. Very nice.

Bottle from Stone in Asagaya. Pours a clear amber with a medium-sized off-white head. Grapefruit, sticky sweet resin with some caramel on the nose along with some light booze. Taste starts out fairly sweet with a big bitter finish. Quite boozy with some good caramel notes and sticky, sweet mouthfeel as it warms. Enjoyable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Ballast Point Dorado Double IPA on 23 Oct 2015 at 21:50 - Score: 7
