Pine and citrus filled nose from the American hops. Malt sweetness in there as well. Drinkable hop juiciness is the key while remaining balanced with ample caramel presence.
It is said that the return of the HopDevil doesn’t mark the end, but rather the beginning. Each year he comes back to the hop harvest, where he thirsts for one thing – that bold hop flavor with notes of citrus and pine. It’s a menacingly delicious IPA brewed with American hops and meticulously crafted. After all, the devil is in the details.

bottle. Golden with a white head. Intensive hop aroma, slightly piney and with some grapefruit. Full-bodied, intensive malty base, lots of aromatic and bitter hops, citrusy flavours dominate, mainly grapefuirt. Lingering bitter-sweet finish.

Bottle from Damian Beer and Ale. Hoppy piney citrusy aroma, grapefruit. Resiny. Slightly hazy reddish amber colour, small head. Taste is hop-centered. High bitterness, a little bit harsh, alcohol slightly poking out. Light balancing candyish sugary maltiness. Overall seems somewhat unbalanced and unnecessarily harsh considering the not so high ABV.

Bottle, 0.355l. Clear amber color with medium soapy off-white head, good lacing and sparkling appearance. Aroma of grass, resin, pumpkin, pineapple and caramel. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel and cereals, follows refreshing grassy and resinous, mouthfeel is spicy, while finish is heavy bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Real devil...

Pours a copper from a bottle, thin off-white head despite vigorous pour, quickly dissipates with little lacing. Very much disappointed in this beer based on existing ratings of others. Smells like sour milk, pine-sol and citrus, flavor is similar with a little dark corn syrup/fake-o maple syrup, bitter bitter grapefruit and maybe some coffee? Kind of a jumble, blech.
