Draught at Löwen Poste, Alpirsbach
Light blond color. To be short, the difference from the Pils is that the Spezial is a bit rounder and less dry.

Bottle, from trade with Papsoe. A clear, pale golden beer topped by a white head. Grainy, malty and fruity nose, not bad, but rather uninteresting. Sweet, grainy malts in the mouth, with fruityness and a slightly metallic touch. Bitterness as well. Medium body, dry mouthfeel. The finish too has some metallic notes, and a decent bitterness. A beer that gives me nothing, but has good drinkability. 090704

500ml bottle at Der Trinkstube attending a conference on early modern witchcraft. Noisy, white foamy head, fading slowly over a straw-golden body. Sparse fruity aroma. Sweet and a bit spiced fruits in the flavour impact. Short bitter end. Clean tasting and medium bodied (Stuttgart-Hohenheim, 27.02.2009).
