Bottle: Greenish golden, a bit unclear, no head to speak of, sweet dusty-grainy nose with a cardboardy touch; moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; dryish - again - and a bit harsh bitter-lemony and malty finish. A not very well balanced brew........

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a diminished white head. Mild fruity and hoppy aroma. Flavour starts sweet and crisp fruity, followed by a light spiced bitter note. Ends dry and bitter, yet lingering fruity too.

The bottle looks simple, but good. The beer in the glass also, but there’s not much foam. The beer tastes hard and dry, not a little bit spicy. I didn’t like it.

bottle. Strawy yellow, medium-size head. Full-bodied and very malty, slightly spicy with a pleasant touch of hops. Well-balanced.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pilsener golden with a small head. Lovely hop aromatic nose, but also quite bitter which is a bit unusual for a "Spezial" which are usually softer and more rounded. 110103

A light yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of aroma hops. The flavor is sweet malty and also with hoppy notes. A very clear and crisp - easily drinkable beer.

Re-Rate from bottle: Straw and fresh grass. Pale golden, lacing white head. Straw and cookie malt bas, quite full and chewy. Good grassy hop balance which carries it to the finish. My old bottle must really have been a lemon, this is a solid Helles. Old rating from Bottle, 4 3 4 1 7. A tad straw and herbs in the nose. Pale golden, low on bubbles, ok frothy white head. Rather weakly pronounced strawlike malt and herbal bitterhop flavors. Flat and thin on the palate.
