Our Bärentöter is a strong crossover between Gose and Bock. This harmoniously complex beer is produced using an opulent mixture of six special malts with additions of coriander, orange peel salt, and a touch of cinnamon. A lactic acid fermentation is complemented by saltiness and malt body to create a perfectly balanced beer. On this basis fine fruit and spice aromas can unfold, making this Gose Bock something very special.

On tap at Arrogant Sour Festival 2019. Hazy orange, white head. Caramel, malty, fruity, some citrus, vague spices, bit salty. Medium sourness, just a bit sweetish. Well rounded. Medium bodied.

Amber-brown colour, rocky head that disappears quickly. Aroma is coriander, toast, caramel, roasted malt, raisin. Heavy sour, slightly salty. Light body, a bit sticky, soft carbonation. Good.

Bottle. Color: Reddish amber, fast disappearing off-white head. Aroma: Sourish, salt, herbal. Taste: Complex combination of moderate sweet, sour, salty and bitter. Malty with herbal notes of coriander and other herbs and tart fruity notes of orange peel. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Quite unique taste, nice one.

Mild smell of acid. Hazy red-tint copper colour, beige head. Aroma of cinnamon, salt, malt, some raw berries. Sour, lightly sweet. Lively carbon, acidic palate. Intense flavours but surprisingly balanced.

Bottle from kappldav. Many thanks! Hazy reddish brown colour, creamy foam. wonderfull aroma of red fruit, caramel, wood, lactic sourness. Taste is tart, light salty, fruity, woody. Very well balanced, easy drinkable. Wonderfull beer!
