Our Bärentöter is a strong crossover between Gose and Bock. This harmoniously complex beer is produced using an opulent mixture of six special malts with additions of coriander, orange peel salt, and a touch of cinnamon. A lactic acid fermentation is complemented by saltiness and malt body to create a perfectly balanced beer. On this basis fine fruit and spice aromas can unfold, making this Gose Bock something very special.

Tap at Arrogant Sour Festival held at Moor Brewery, Bristol July 2019. Pours hazed brown with a beige cap. Aroma of berries, cherries, orange, citrus, caramel and coriander with a hint of cinnamon & gingerbread. Medium sweet & tart, light salty. Medium body, with frothy carbonation.

Backlog November 2017. Unclear orange amber body under a small tan head. Aroma has acidic berries and minerals. Taste is sweet caramel malt, vinegar, minerals and hint of dry fruit. Medium body and same aftertaste. Interesting combo of Bock and Gose.

(Bottle) Brownish amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of dark bread, caramel, brown sugar, orange peel, spices and a slight acidity. Malty, fruity, tart taste with dark bread, salty caramel, a touch of vinegar, prunes, lemon, coriander and a tart finish with low bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Different, but interesting and really tasty. Very nice.

Bottle at Malý/Velký. Red-amber mistx body, off white head, lasting and thick. Sharp but creamy aroma, good maltiness, flowery, tart. Very nice really. Lean taste, sour cherry, a bit metallic, salty finish... It almost taste like a slightly mustier and metallic cherry juice - quite juicy and tasty... Cinnamon I can kinda see too here and there. Nice stuff, excellent even!

29/12/2019. Bottle courtesy of Gabriel. Pours hazy copper brown with a short lasting off-white head. Aroma of berries, cherries, orange, citrus, cinnamon biscuit, caramel and coriander with a hint of gingerbread. Medium sweetness, medium tartness, slightly salty. Medium body, oily texture, above average carbonation. Interesting brew! Liked it.

The Aromas are sour Amber malt, with a little fruit and solvent. Had a nice short lived cream colored thick head. Flavors are easy sweet tart, maybe the barest hint of salt up front. Good carbonation and body. Decent finish. Wish it had a touch more salt.

$5.49 pint+ bottle from Beer Run. Day 6 of a bad cold that keeps hanging on... Not going anywhere today (except back to bed), so why not have a beer? Murky orange-brown with a small beige head. Aroma is orange peel, coriander, caramel, light cinnamon. Flavor is sour fruit, cinnamon, orange peel, a bit of funkiness to this.

Srednia piana srednio trwala, barwa czerwono miedziana, o krwistym jaskrawym odcieniu. Pachnie dziwnie, nie moglem tego sprecyzowac, kojarzylo mi sie z jakims lakierem? albo impregnat, ogolnie jakby pomalowana swiezo lawka w parku. Smak kwaskowy, wyraznie kwaskowy, czerone owoce, granat swiezy, jak na gose to malo slone jest, ale najfajniejsze to ze nie jest slodkie.
