Bottle at the "Dean is a cheap bastard tasting cos he let Rene buy a beer from the shop and then asked to taste it for the tick" tasting. Poured a hazy medium amber with a big frothy white head. The aroma is aniseed medicinal . The flavour is moderate bitter with an earthy mineral dry bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

sample at THT from ABCBeers via me. Thin creamy off white head. Hazy amber pour. Nice hoppy aftertaste. Subtle rose aroma.

Lightly hazy reddish color, medium sized off-white head that lasts for a short while. Aroma is malts, hops. Taste lightly malts, hops, lightly fruity and nicely bitter. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle @ de Molen, small sample. Almost clear amber color, short frothy off-white head. Aroma is a bit hoppy, bit pine and grapefruit, quite some toffee and caramel, reddish/irish amber ale like. Medium bitter in taste, slight caramelly and toffee sweetness, hint of nuttyness. Bit dry as well. Decent stuff.

Hazy red brown colour. Strong aroma but a nice malt/hop balance. Initial malt sweetness, a bit of caramel then a strong, bitter and slightly spicy hop finish.

Cloudy dark amber to brown color with frothy head. mild aroma of caramel with light fruity impression. Good body, round mouthfeel; strong flavor of caramel and dark caramel, light roastiness, light residual sweetness; it has some lingering fruity touch and floral undertones; strong bitterness; roasted nuts in the final.
Solid beer, well brewed, with an original delicate touch.

The appearance has a dark red colored body with a one fingered white foamy head that dies within about a minute to a slightly foamy cap coating the top of the body. Lacing is sticky against the sides of the glass.
The smell has a rich caramel maltiness with a slim roasty nuttiness pervading my nose.
The taste mainly sweet through the caramel malts and nuts, however, a decent bittering effect starts to come across in the flavoring as it warms. There is a malty nutty aftertaste with a dry bitter malty finish.
On the palate, she sits about a medium on the body with a decent sessionability aspect to it. Carbonation comes across really smooth for the style and is pretty good to me.
Overall, this is a pretty good American Amber/Red Ale that I would have again

22 oz. bottle, pours a dark amber / brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dry earthy malts, some slight caramel undertones, and a considerable hop profile. Flavour is very well-balanced, with tons of dry earthy, bready malts, and a great hop punch without being too overbearing. Highly drinkable and sessionable. Finishes dry and earthy. Great stuff.

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours dark ruddy amber with a foamy beige head. Aroma is resin over roast malt. Med body or better. Flavor is lightly nutty roast malt, but there’s a lot of hop - mostly resin? - or is it spicy/herby?- anyway it drinks a s--- load better than the vast majority of ambers. Thankfully this amber is far from a drain pour. It’s even pleasant to the nose when the glass is raised each quaff. Good beer. Finishes with lots of hop bitter.
