Bottle split at CBC Clerko, 15/04/15, thanks to Fergus. Hazed reddish amber with a decent beige covering. Nose is spice, light soap, tangerine, tea leaves, caramel. Taste comprises earthy hop, tea bags, red berry jam, Caramac bar, earthy tones. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with a light hop bitterness. Ok amber in an amber shmamber kind of way.

Craft Clerkenwell. Bruce’s UK Swan Song. Hazy red - amber beer, good cream colour head. Airy palate, fairly dry. Mild carbonation. Light malts and a little spice. Insipid marmalade and pine hops. Dry finish. Meh! Messy!

Bottled. Amber colour, big off-white head. Aroma is earthy, some floral notes, mild toffee and some grassy notes. Flavour is grassy, floral and some earthy notes. Surprisingly dry flavour for an amber ale. Still pretty much has got "old beer" feeling over it. (Bottled 04/10/14).

65 cl bottle @ oh6gdx. Aroma has sweet malty tones and hay. Also gooseberry bush. Feels somewhat musty. Flavour has strong herbal bitterness and grapefruit. Acrid, feels very contaminated.

Bottle at Bruce’s leaving drinks. It pours hazy reddish with a small off-white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, sugary, candy and some generic red fruity action. The taste is bitter, earthy, over-stewed tea, red fruits, mild astringency, pepper, sugar and light tang with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Quite a big black tea character about it. OK at best.

Bottle shared at Bruce’s farewell drinks. From cotteridge wines, reddy amber coloured pour with a lasting creamy head. Aroma is nutty, light berry, brown bread, sugar. Flavour is brown bread, tangy big bitter, brown sugar, little metallic in the finish. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation. Back of the throat bitter. Not great.
