Nitro-draught at Serious Biscuit, Seattle
Cloudy golden color with creamy head. The nitro cuts away some of the hop aroma. The mouthfeel is medium dry, very smooth; good malts and good resiny hops, a bit fruity and orangey too.
Satisfying.

On tap at YardHouse meridian. Cloudy deep orange. Nitro white head that looked like whipped cream. Big bitter and malty. Lots of hop bitterness and decent hop flavor. The nitro adds a nice smooth feel.

Bomber. Pours a deep orange gold color. Thin white head leaves some spotty lacing. Light aromas of pine resin & caramel malt. Taste is more promising. Piney resin, light citrus, and a bit of sweet caraml maltiness. Medium bodied with some lingering bitterness/sweetness.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass; release #83, bottled 12/2/2013. Pours slightly hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, orange zest, lemon zest, pineapple, peach, floral, grass, light pine, bread, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good complexity of citrus/tropical hops with a fair amount of malt balance; and good strength. Taste of tangerine, grapefruit, orange zest, lemon zest, pineapple, citrus rind, light peach, pine, floral, grass, bread, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of crisp citrus rind/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, orange/lemon zest, citrus rind, light peach, pine, floral, grass, bread, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity of bright citrus/tropical hops with light-moderate malt sweetness; with a crisp malt/bitterness balance and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and very sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice DIPA. All around good complexity of citrus/tropical hops with light-moderate malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to sip on for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

Bomber - I’ve had a few of the single hop variations of this beer, so I figured it was time I tried the original - pours lightly hazy gold with a soapy lace - aroma is very citric and piney, highly resinous - a lot of garlicky hop notes that are kind of unpleasant - low carbonation - medium body - hop flavors are mostly garlicky and cheesy - bitterness is kind of abrasive - pretty acidic finish, but some balancing sweetness comes in - bitter grapefruit finish - meh.

nitro tap - This one has a surprisingly mild hop led aroma. The nitro gives it a dense, long lasting head. The flavor is bitter as one would expect but not hugely so. It’s actually pretty balanced. There’s a medium body and a smooth palate that’s followed up with an enduring bitterness in the finish. It’s good but I expected more from an IIPA as I love the style.

Poured from a bottle it is a cloudy golden color with a massive white head that receeds. The aroma is of citrus and some hints of grapefruit The taste of the beer has a tangy flavor that resonates the citrus in the beer. It has a strong bitter ending
