Hopulent IPA is a big beer with lots of complex malt flavor and excessive hops. This beer will have changes to the grain bill and seasonal hop changes. The character of Hopulent IPA is over the top, too much of everything—a real HOP HEADS DELIGHT!

From a 22 oz bottle shared in Avon NC. Pours a clear copper with a thick white head. Aroma of citrus and grass. Lots of caramel malt to smooth out the big hop flavors. Bitter, but not over the top, finish. Nice.

Hazy golden orange. Aroma is heavy pine with some fruitiness (peachy, citrusy). Taste is mostly piney bitterness. Mouthfeel is a bit oily. Not quite as hoppy as I expected.

Bottle at Great British Beer Festival 2013. Poured a slightly hazy dark golden colour with a medium, creamy head. Big aroma of citrus hops, orange peal and tropical fruits. The big bitter hops linger nicely with resiny notes and some juicy malts. No notable astringency. These hops goes up to 11.

Bottle shared at GBBF 2013. It pours hazy golden orange with a small white head. The nose is juicy orange, tangerine, tangy marmalade, sherbet and light alcohol. The taste is juicy orange, grapefruit, earth, big alcohol kick, resinous, marmalade, mild acidity and sherbet with a dry, bitter finish. Medium+ body, fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Perhaps a bit boozy, but rather nice nonetheless.
