Hive (5,3% ABV) is a very fresh Hefeweizen. The Hive is made up of a lot of wheat which gives it a refreshing taste. It is cloudy and pale, with a foamy and frothy head. The taste is fruity and has some vanilla flavors.

Bottle. Color: Lightly hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Wheat malt, yeasty. Taste: Wheat malt, sweetish, yeasty, light fruity esters (hints of banana). Medium body, just below average carbonation. Over moderate to medium sweet, light bitterness. Ok.

Das Hive ist im Gegensatz zu den anderen Sisters-Bieren relativ einfach. Es ist ein leichtes, hefiges Weizenbier belgischer 🧇 Prägung mit einem leichten Fruchtgeschmack 🍒. Es hat keine große Aromentiefe, was aber nicht weiter stört und ist dafür schön leicht spritzig und angenehm zu trinken.

Tap at Pivo & Burger. Hazy golden-yellow body, white head. Dusty phenolic aroma, wheat malt. Citric and phenolic taste, okaaay at best. Why on earth did I go for this one first... especially since how overpriced it was for the style (I'm sure there are reasons why the price was like it was...). Was it because I'm a sucker for Hefes? Yup it damn was. Ugh.

Tap. Blonde, hazy. Yeasty buttery aroma with banana notes. Thin yeasty flavor with banana. Phenolic. Meagre.

Aroma is funky sour sweet lime some wheat. Taste is not sour. Just some sweet yeasty wheat. Still interesting

Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is wheat, bananas, mineraly, peach jam. Taste is the same. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Decent, but a bit too yeasty.

Sampled @ Braukunst Live 2019. A slightly hazy pale golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of herbs, sweet banana and phenols. Taste of phenols, herbs, wheat malt.

24-11-18 // taster at 4. CBM MAinz. Different Hefeweizen, light bodied a minimal fruitiness, creamy banana, wheat malts, more yeast notes. Soft.
