Hive (5,3% ABV) is a very fresh Hefeweizen. The Hive is made up of a lot of wheat which gives it a refreshing taste. It is cloudy and pale, with a foamy and frothy head. The taste is fruity and has some vanilla flavors.

Sample, at De fontein, Hazy white/yellow, Aroma is yeast, banana, wheat. Taste is the same with some (bread)dough, somewhat tart and sweet. It’s a weizen thats for sure. ok

Bottle from the Bierkoning. Very hazy golden orange with a small off white head. Aroma of yeast, herbal notes, light banana and citrus. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Amsterdam Pubcrawl 2016, @Gollem Amstelstraat, van tap. licht gouden met witte kraag. aroma van mout, banaan, gist, tarwe, smaken van banaan, tarwe, zoete mout, zwak tot medium body.

On tap at Tap Zuid. Murky golden amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of sweet malts, honey, clove, banana, lots of yeast. Flavour is sweet, wheat, banana, clove, again very yeasty, yeasty bitter finish. Light bodied, fizzy.

Tap at Tap Zuid. Hazy light golden with white head. Cloves, dough, light mineral, lemon, some sweet grains. Medium sweet, very light bitter. Just medium bodied.

Sampled at Tap Zuid, Amsterdam. Hazy yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste wheat, yeast, lightly banana, a bit artificial. Meh. Not very good.
