It all started with an epic video game marathon back in 2004.

Rocking blaze-orange homebrew, we saw the foam rings down the glass like tiger stripes. Thousands of batches and tweaks later, the BENGALI still slashes. Tip it back and let gravity do the work. Game on!

Bengali is that go-to IPA you want by the pint. Big tropical hop character up front, super clean, with a dryness on the back end that leaves you wanting more.

Key Ingredients Flaked oats provide a silky texture, while Mandarina Bavaria and Amarillo hops give the beer a huge slash of citrus aroma, without lingering bitterness.

0,355 boks fra Kihoskh,, delt med Steven i lejligheden okt-17: let uklar oransjegylden med eksemplarisk skum som varer til siste dråpe. På alle måter en frisk og lettdrikkelig ipa med rikelige mengder tropiske frukter, furunål og saftige, jordaktige toner som avslutter med en delikat bitterhet. Den viser frem de beste egenskapene til EKG. En fin avslutning på Stevens opphold her.

Can to glass. Hazy orange with sustained, full white head. Malty in both aroma and taste. Slight orange background.

Tall 12 fl. oz. can out of the Bierzwerg shelf in Greven. Pours out a little bit unclear pale copper, nearly two finger white head. Smells strong floral hopy with pine. Taste starts strong floral hopy. Malty backbone. Some licorice in the background. Low carbation. Very nice one.

(Keg at Sori Taproom, 20170725) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, grass, sweetness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium. Flavours were fruitiness, tangerine, peach, pineapple, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A nice hoppy brew with crisp finish.

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is harsh resiny, weeds, fiber plastic, bark, harsh hops, grass, pine needles, alcohol. Taste is harsh, weeds, harsh hops, bark, cardboard, soil, alcohol, minerals. Longlasting harsh bitterness, watery mouthfeel. Crap.

355ml can [as Bengali, 6.5%, 69 IBU). Slightly cloudy, golden to amber colour with average, fluffy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Piney, resinous and slightly citrusy, hoppy aroma, notes of pineapple and orange, sweaty resin notes. Taste is slightly sweet caramel and pale malty, moderate bitter hoppiness, some pine, resin, citrus, orange zest, a touch of mango; slightly mineral and chalky, bitter finish.

Can, 6.5%. Clear golden with big tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel, hop, grass and biscuit. Flavour is malt, caramel, biscuit, medium sweet, hop, grass, little peach and medium bitter.
