It all started with an epic video game marathon back in 2004.
Rocking blaze-orange homebrew, we saw the foam rings down the glass like tiger stripes. Thousands of batches and tweaks later, the BENGALI still slashes. Tip it back and let gravity do the work. Game on!
Bengali is that go-to IPA you want by the pint. Big tropical hop character up front, super clean, with a dryness on the back end that leaves you wanting more.
Key Ingredients Flaked oats provide a silky texture, while Mandarina Bavaria and Amarillo hops give the beer a huge slash of citrus aroma, without lingering bitterness.
Admin Note: Formerly known as Bengali Tiger

On tap @ Beer Temple. This is a cloudy kinda mild amber colored one. Well, it's not all that cloudy but it has a deep blur. A big lasting and quite lacing off-white head safely placed on the top. Smells nice with a good amount of birchey pine. A good amount of sweet malty goodness also here. Perhaps not the most complex aroma, but it smells nice. Piney and birchy in the taste also. At first quite mouthdrying. It has a mild oily texture in the mouth and it's just above average on the carbonation. Red berries, some pine cones. It bears some resemblance of a mild double IPA I think. Really bitter aftertaste. Works well. 24.09.2015

Can at Spoons in Eastbourne (bargain at 1.99). A huge hop hit followed by a powerful bitterness at the back of the tongue,. A high %gives the beer a ’belgian’ complexion. Enjoyable.

Can pour into taster cup at One Stop Market 30th Anniversary. Appearance is hazy, light brown/yellow, no sparkle, thin ring of white head and light lacing. Aroma is mild tropical fruit. Taste is earthy hops, bit of fruit, resinous bitterness. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, lively carbonation and mix of fruity, but earthy bitter dominant finish. Overall, taste is not that pleasing, bitter dominant.
