It all started with an epic video game marathon back in 2004.
Rocking blaze-orange homebrew, we saw the foam rings down the glass like tiger stripes. Thousands of batches and tweaks later, the BENGALI still slashes. Tip it back and let gravity do the work. Game on!
Bengali is that go-to IPA you want by the pint. Big tropical hop character up front, super clean, with a dryness on the back end that leaves you wanting more.
Key Ingredients Flaked oats provide a silky texture, while Mandarina Bavaria and Amarillo hops give the beer a huge slash of citrus aroma, without lingering bitterness.
Admin Note: Formerly known as Bengali Tiger

355ml slim can, served in a tulip glass at Flying Horse (JDW), airside Gatwick airport. A fair, bubbly, beige head that stayed well over a hazy apricot coloured body. Fresh citrus on the nose. Taste of orange, pine, citrus peels and resin towards the ending. Fruity bitterness to the close. Well bodied. Tasty and refreshing (01.12.2015)

Boks 355ml på Flying Horse Gatwick 1 Des 15. Lettere mørk gyldenbrun. Lavt tett skum med syltynn lacing. Aroma av fersken. Balansert smak. Rik, tung fruktig smak med en kompakt bitterhet. Godt øl til å finnes på en flyplass.

Can from Drinks of the World. A strong and powerful IPA, yet not ultimately refined. Quite fresh and grass-hoppy though.

33cl can courtesy of and shared with Tderoeck.

3 month old RedBull can A: Big beige head atop a somewhat hazy medium burnt gold body. Good head retention. Patchy lacing. S: Earthy smell from the can. Once poured, light orange citrus and caramel are noticed. Light aroma overall. T: Toast, pine and a slightly woody malt flavor. Light alcohol, bitter orange pith and zest follow, with a little tart juice on the finish. M: Medium bodied. tingly carbonation. Fairly clean finish does have a bit of coating oiliness and warming alcohol . O: A tasty citrus forward ale. Not a regular go to but worthwhile.

Pours an amber yellow with a great white head which slowly recedes to a lacing. Aroma is citrusy and slightly malty. Taste is bitter hops, slight pleasant citric fruits and then some caramel/breadiness.

355 ml slimline can, as Sixpoint Bengali, at the Prince of Wales (JDW), Cardiff. ABV was 6.5%. Orange colour, moderate white head. Distinct aroma of American hops, notes of orange marmalade and pine. Hoppy flavour too, some sweetness but not too much, notes of orange peel and pine / resin.
