It all started with an epic video game marathon back in 2004.
Rocking blaze-orange homebrew, we saw the foam rings down the glass like tiger stripes. Thousands of batches and tweaks later, the BENGALI still slashes. Tip it back and let gravity do the work. Game on!
Bengali is that go-to IPA you want by the pint. Big tropical hop character up front, super clean, with a dryness on the back end that leaves you wanting more.
Key Ingredients Flaked oats provide a silky texture, while Mandarina Bavaria and Amarillo hops give the beer a huge slash of citrus aroma, without lingering bitterness.
Admin Note: Formerly known as Bengali Tiger

Draft at beertemple. Golden pour. Aroma of grassy hops, herbs and some sweet fruit. Taste has pine, mild herbs, grassy hop and malt. Okay.

Can from Cazz. Thanks for the omiyage! Lots of orange and citrus on the nose, marmalade, brown sugar and grassy hops. Well-balanced on the palate with a touch of caramel. Bitter finish that lingers. A solid, simple IPA.

On tap at VCBW Festival 2016, pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out light piney hops and some mild hop resins. Flavour is resinous and herbaceous in the hop department, with a grassiness as well. Dry biscuity malt backbone as well. Solid stuff.

Amber golden color. Not too much going on the nose but has lots of oranges and marmalade. Kinda simple, medium bitterness. Not bad

Thanks to Bob for sharing! Great floral nose. The beer starts floral and intense. Fruity with an absolutely round but slightly grainy body. Smooth, floral piney hops, great stuff.

Nice aroma of caramel malt and piney hops. Flavor’s similar to nose, slightly more bitter than sweet and understated overall. Soft palate. Nice brew.
