Bottle at home. Clear dark amber pour with a thin beige head. Smells like caramel, resin, grapefruit and chili peppers. Tastes like grapefruit, red peppers, spices, brown sugar. Medium bodied with medium carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel.

Bottle at Bishops Vasagatan. Pours cloudy orange with white head. Aroma is very piney together with grapefruit, citrus, grass and dough. Creamy rye taste with pine, grapefruit and floral notes. Very nice.

Bouteille 650ml, gracieuseté de Erik-P lors du CanBIF Fall 2015, Thanks Erik! Couleur cuivrée voilée, mousse beige onctueuse et éternelle laissant une superbe dentelle. Arôme de houblon résineux, agrumes, seigle, un peu poivré, floral, touche de caramel. Goût d’agrumes, houblon résineux, malt, amertume toute en longueur, seigle, caramel. Carbonatation moyenne, corps moyen.

Willrunforbeer with a cellar clean out. Two year old bottle that has held up really well. Red/ Amber color thin carbonation. Aroma is rye malt and a solid amount of pine.

The flavor has a great amount of pine with a steady amount of rye backbone. Medium body with a average amount of carbonation still left in it. The texture has turned dry with a lasting bitter pine. Damn this held up really damn well.

Back of the bottle reads best by 05 / 28 / 15 (I think, date is really smudged).
Thinking this is an IPA, I poured this into a nonic pint glass. Crap, my local store does not have any more bottles. Hopefully, I’ll see a new batch in the near future. Here’s the rest.
The appearance was a nice hazy golden orange to amber color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about thirty seconds leaving some messy lacing roaming all around the glass.
The smell had a nice sweet to spicy blend of rye malt to come across in a nice sweet citrus way.
The taste was mainly sweet and lightly spiced through the rye, a light citrus runs through and leads to a quick sweet dry caramel to spicy aftertaste. There is a sweet citrus finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Sticky sweet malty notes run over my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good DIPA even if I did have it in the wrong glass. Hopefully, there’s a next time for this.
