12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a cloudy dark gold with minimal head. Aroma of belgian yeast, banana, clove and slight citrus. Taste is medium sweet. Spicy banana and clove with citrus. Full bodied with a thick, slightly sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a long, warming finish. Overall, pretty darn good. Much better than i thought this one would be.

WTF, are you people all nuts? This beer is monkey piss. Skunky and sour. It is the only beer I’ve ever bought and had to send back as undrinkable. Disgusting.

I got 2 free bottles from a friend of a friend. No best by or bottled date.

It pours a hazy light gold with a 2 finger head of foam and leaves some nice lacing.

It smells spicy and bitter. I get some clove and pepper and the bitterness is of the citrus kind to my nose.

Spicy flavours start off..clove, pepper, followed by some citrus bitterness, some candi sugar sweetness, it finishes decidedly on the dry side. I'm not getting any fruitiness that I like in the style.

On the upper end of medium bodied with good carbonation.

This is a strong fella at 9.5% abv but it's hidden pretty well. Overall, I like but it's a bit to bitter for me to be a big fan of it.

Bottle shared at home - Cheers Steven! Pours pale gold with a white head which quickly fades. Can only describe the smell as ’authentic’ Good carbonation. Reminds me of Tripel Karmeliet, only with a Christmas spice edge, Oranges and spice in the nose, taste, and finish. They’ve nailed this one.

It poured a golden color and left the same color body with a half inch white foamy head that gently settled into the body after a minute. The body was too hazy for any carbonation to be seen rising. Some light speckled lacing here and there lacing dotted the sides of the snifter. The smell was spicy and had the Belgian yeast a bit more subdued with some added coriander in it. The taste was as well spicy with a pretty good combination between the spice and the Belgian yeast. The palate was about a medium with some light sharpness on the tongue. This had a decent drinkability. This is a good tripel that I’d have again.
