Nose is loaded with Belgian yeast character of banana and clove with an equally fruity body balanced with a light, earthy hop character. Savor notes of orange and spice followed by a dry finish.

Bottle from Cornelius. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of honey, straw and star anise. Flavour is very sweet - verging on Barley Wine territory. Notes of honey, spices and a peppery finish. Flavour of salted orange. Medium body with a sticky mouthfeel. Lively fizz. A nice beer, but a bit too sweet for me.

Belgian style Triple Ale. Zeer te pruimen. Bitter genoeg, blonde troebele kleur, droge afdronk. Doet idd denken aan een Belgische Tripel

Bomber. Pours a hazy gold in appearance. Thin white head with minimal lacing. Aroma is Belgian, Taste is Belgian, but something is missing ... or is it? It has the characteristic fruity, yeasty, candied sugar sweetness of a tripel, but it is all rather subtle. Medium mouthfeel with decent carbonation. Its suprisingly drinkable @ 9.5.

Lys brun klar med lavt hvitt skum. Kornete, noe honning og noe melonlukt. Søt honning og samtidig ganske syrlig smak. Tørr bittersøt i munnen.

Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, light hops, light citrus. Malty flavour, bread, light bitter. Finish hay and malts.

Tap at Brewdog, Sheffield. Looks and moves like Castrol GTX. Thick, ripe mandarin. Peppery spice. Taste is spicy dry. Palate is chewy. Drinks way under it’s ABV. Finish is dry and spicy. So, to sum up, quite spicy then...

The best American tripel I’ve had so far. Dark golden and velvety, small silky head, buttery taste and mouthfeel. Essences of spice, floral and some fruit. A little bit of tang and alcohol warmth on the tail end. Nice job!
