Many thanks to Chris for bringing it over. Fresh intense floral and malty-sweetish nose. Smooth, sticky floral. Intense nice bitter hops on a viscous and floral body. Easy to drink though with an alcoholic sweetness in the back. Easy to drink, fresh and floral, smooth. A nice brew but too sweetish for my taste.

Bottle shared by Ken at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours bright amber with a white head. Aroma is earthy, floral, resin. Full bodied or very near. Flavor is sweet caramel, lots of earthy and floral hop. I call hopped barley wine. It’s very, very nice.

A dark amber DIPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light floral hops, light catnip, smooth butterscotch, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with loads of catty floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice treacle, alcohol warmth, nice and smooth. On tap at Jet Rock Terminal B PHL.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a hazy yellow to orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light stringy lacing roaming around the glass.
The smell had a sweet citrus with a bitter citrus rind and an underscore of caramel malt to balance.
The taste was bitter and sweet not necessarily combined but delicate in its composure to lead into the aftertaste to leave a dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body. Sessionable - slightly and the alcohol wasn’t felt too much. Bittersweet harshness rolled over my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good DIPA that I could have again.

Cat pee, daffodil, and whole orange nose, very pungent. Hazy amber, thin head. Rosehips and orange, apricot overtones. Lemongrass finish. Full body, a little warm. Good complexity. Intense and not quaffable, but enjoyable in small doses.

What a treat it is to find a beer from my hometown brewery that I’ve never had hundreds of miles from home. Bottle from Wine Warehouse, Charlottesville. Pours a pretty clear amber, an inch of beige head that laces nicely. Sweet dark fruits, pine, citrus in the nose. Thick almost syrupy flavors in the mouth. Dark fruits, soap, pine, citrus, and finishes with pepper.

Bottle at DC local tasting. Crystal clear golden color. Nice aroma of bright mango and pine. Taste is earthy tropical fruit, grapefruit. Very tasty.

On tap. Pours a clear deep amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has pine and resin with a bit of grapefruit and sweet grains. Flavor has a sweet grain and resin with a bit of pine in the finish.
