Siste (?) anledning på lenge til å gå planken, og er jeg på Bootleggers, et pålitelig vanningshull ved Nørreport 27.11.18: brunsvart med fint skum som varer hele veien ned og vel så det. Melkesjokolade, mørke karameller, cappuccino, røde bær, vanilje kombinert med en delikat humleprofil. Lang og balancered eftersmag.

Black stout with a smell of coffee and vanilla. Taste is coffee, vanilla, cream, chocolate and a lingering dry finish with less booziness than you'd expect. Very smooth and worryingly drinkable.

355ml can a bit over a year old. Pours black with a thin dark tan head disappearing very quickly. Aroma of dark chocolate, roast malts, liquorice. Taste of cocoa, dark malts, roast, liquorice, vanilla, warming alcohol, boozy. Medium-full bodied, soft carbonation.

Can picked up from Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte, West Flanders, consumed onboard the Pont Aven, en route to Santander, Tuesday 26th June 2018. Pours black with a slim beige head. Smooth but quite bitter with a lot of bitter cocoa edge. Good but not as smooth or refined as I'd hoped. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.5
