On keg at Brewdog, Manchester. Pours opaque dark brown to black with a tan head. Aroma: roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee. Taste: moderate sweet, rich roast malts, cacao, vanilla, liquorice, molasses. Medium to heavy body, soft carb, smooth mouthfeel, bitter dark choc finish.

Keg at Brewdog Shepherd's Bush, London. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, coffee, vanilla on the nose. Tastes similar, roasty, malty, chocolate, coffee, vanilla and licorice. Pleasant imperial stout from Stillwater.

355ml can from Vinmonopolet Langnes. The oily pour reveals an espresso head reduced to a stable layer. Pitch black body. Crocheted lacing. Creamy mid-sweet chocolate aromas with a touch of leather. Rich taste of chocolate, burnt sugar, oak, and molasses alongside a twist of dark fruits. Warming, long-lived, nicely roasted ending. Full bodied. Decent night cap.(Tromsø 04.02.2018).
