Wickedly decadent stout, full of dark chocolate syrup and anise and black cherry and espresso, with a campfire burning in the distance and a dry bitter chocolate finish that steadfastly refuses to grow cloy. Pours a thick, oozing black with a dark brown head and spotty lacing. Chocolate, smoke, and a little leather on the nose. How a 13% beer can be this creamy and easy-drinkin’ is baffling. Glorious pint.

Can at home, from Oslo, 7th December 17. Pours black, there's a head. Aroma is liquorice, booze, dark chocolate. Taste is boozy, liquorice, dark chocolate, malt, roasty. Slightly over carbonated to start with. Not bad, a little boozy.

Black, used motor oil-like pour with a firm dark brown head. Deep molasses, roasted malts, light vanilla, burnt malt, cocoa, brown sugar. Finish has light burnt malts and sweet dark brown sugar notes. Full, thick body. Chewy. The booze is surprisingly well hidden. A bit warming the end but not like eating fire. Good brew.

Boks 355ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Svart. Lavt mokkafarget skum som daler raskt. Lett sjokoladearoma. Smaken lakris & røstet malt. Myk munnfølelse. Alkoholen godt kamuflert.

Almost black pour, close to no carbonation. Light booze in the nose, liquid chocolate and somewhat dusty. Black bitter chocolate. Taste is quite smooth, toffee cocoa and some booze. Bit spicy, light chilli glow, roasted as well but not too much. Treat.

Pitch black color. Sweet dark chocolate, caramel, dark fruit, brown sugar in the nose. Fairly boozy, dark chocolate, tobacco somewhat boozy in palate, but for 13% good stuff.
