Dark Skull is a heavy collaboration between our metal-loving brewer Peter and musician and craft beer-fan Victor Brandt (Entombed AD, Firespawn, Totalt Jävla Mörker). They headbanged their heads together to create a stout in a true Entombed AD spirit. Brewed with roasted barley, chocolate and oat malts, roasted coconut and coconut sugar.

Opaque black, tiny beige head. Aroma is toasted with coconut, coffee and vegetable notes. Full-bodied. Coffee, licorice, coconut, cocoa in the flavor. A bit medicinal even. Quite sweet but a bit boozy too. Restless.

dark brown colour, minimal, around half cm, creamy brown head; aroma of dried fruits (cherry and plum) soaked in alcohol, dark chocolate, licorice, slight vanilla and very minimal coconut; taste of dark chocolate, coffee, syrupy sweetness, dried plum, licorice, hints of vanilla, traces of coconut and spicy alcohol; great stuff!

Flaske 33cl delt med DjOeye på Hamna&Bier. Aroma kaffe, sjokolade, lakris, røsted malt. Utseende sort med brunt skum. Smak alkohol, kaffe, sjokolade, vanilje, lakris. Kraftig og godt øl med vanilje midtveis og avslutter med lakris.

Black color with a small beige top. Some lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Full body and a soft carbonation level. A fine mellow sweetness and a bit oily texture. Lots of chocolate here. Also espresso and a bit fruity flavor. Nice evening sipper. Easy to drink.

Bottle from Urbansprawl. Black with a tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate and fruit. Flavour is roast coffee, boozy dark fruit, coconut, coffee. Velvet texture, seeet finish.

Bottled. Very deep brown, close to black colour with a small beigeish brown head, which stays for a good bit. Aroma is coconut, some dark chocolate, toffee, mild toasted notes as well as some alcohol sweetness. Flavour is sweet malts, some coconut, chocolate and also some bitterness to it. Quite bold palate.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours pretty thick, very dark brown with beige head. Aroma of chocolate, dark malt, roast, coconut and vanilla. Sweetish taste with coconut, slight roast, a bit of coffee, chocolate, leather. Average carbonation and full body.

Bottle shared at Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2016, Day 2. Near black with a small tan head. Aroma of bounty bar, coconut, dark chocolate, caramel and toffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter. Full bodied with a thick texture and soft carbonation. [20-08-2016]
