A crisp yet distinct Pilsner brewed with German hops that bring vivid notes of floral and spice with citrus and lemon. This is truly brilliant, bringing nuanced complexity together with smooth, easy drinking.

“Prima!” it is an exclamation of pure joy heard from brewmasters and beer lovers near and far each time they enjoy one of our most adored beers. It is also how she got her name. Like any proud parent, we have crowned her as one of our favorites. We lavish her with hand-picked hops, only the finest ingredients and painstakingly work to balance her distinct and nuanced complexity with smooth, easy drinking.

Pours clear bright gold with short lived white head. The modest aroma seems to be dominated by spicy hops with thin layers of floral hops and faint sweetness around the edges. The taste is up front bitter noble hops creating a mostly spicy profile with lesser amounts of floral and shrubbery like earthiness. Flavor hops grow to midway aided by faint sugary malt sweetness. It ends with a return of hop bitterness heading into the finish and after taste. Reminds me of a more bitter version of Sam Adams Boston Lager back in the early 90s with my early 90s palate.

Draught at Churchkey. Very light body, well balanced, but overall an uninteresting and rather ordinary beer.

12 oz. bottle, pours slightly hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma of sweet pale malts, grains and some hops. Flavour of grains, sufficient hops, dry grass, floral notes and pale malt - finishing dry, grassy and bitter. A great refreshing pilsner with plenty of bite.

12 oz bottle, courtesy of LiveFREEorRye... Pours a pale opaque golden color. Moderate head. Aroma is very hoppy and floral. Taste was bitter as expected. Palate was rough, but nice full feeling in the mouth, nice crisp aftertaste. Good alternative to the typical American Pilsener

Bottle and Draught, many times at many places. This has got to be one of the best Pilseners. Pours a clear, light yellow with a modest, fizzy white head. Great aroma of straw, floral hops and mild malts. Flavor has light sweetness, but some very crisp, grassy hops. Light in body with fine, quenching carbonation. Finishes with some sweetness, but lots of dryness and hops. Excellent.

It’s always nice to receive a new brew from the States that is not part of the three big brewers. This is my first from Victory. Pours a glowing yellow colour with a big foamy white head, medium retention, small traces of lacing and big bubble carbonation. The nose is pretty hoppy with this fresh flower scent. The hop is definitely more present in the taste, and makes this quite a refreshing hoppy pils beer. I did not taste the hop as much drank from the bottle. Dry mouthfeel, and much hoppier than most Euro pilsner. Quite a good first experience from this brewery.

On tap at Birch & Barley in D.C.. Pours a clear pale yellow with small head that leaves quickly, and some lacing. Medium body, low carbonation, and light lemon aroma. The taste is light malt and a punch of bitter hops that lingers.

Pours clear yellow golden color with white head. Saez hop aroma with a bit of grapefruit rind. Sweet, fruity, slightly bitter and hoppy. Light to medium body with lively carbonation. Crisp, dry and refreshing, a very nice pils.
