On tap (half-pint) at the Mission Ave Bar & Grill, Oceanside, 25th March 2019. Golden pour, clean, clear and bright; fast fading white head. Typical Czech Pilsner, light herbal twist to the semi-malty aroma and taste, decent hop bitterness too.

On tap at Uptown Freehouse. Pours gold. Peach, orange juice, synthetic orange, sweet mango, pineapple, touch of sharpness in the back end. Medium body. Light and refreshing and very tasty.

12 ounce bottle. Honey gold color. Moderate frothy white head. Faint malty aroma has hints of melon, butter and honey. First sip yields a zesty mix of honey, citrus and crackers. Crisp, dry middle. Light, dry, hoppy finish. Androgynous Pils-like aftertaste.

Bottle from J’s. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of foam that lingers a tad. Bready malt, faint grass and a touch of honey. Crisp and clean. Good body. Lemon and honey very faint. Peppery finish. Nice flavors. --- Beer merged from original tick of Lagunitas Pils on 08 Jan 2017 at 17:00 - Score: 7. Original review text: Bready malt, faint grass and a touch of honey. Crisp and clean. Good body. Easy to see why this stands as Laguntas’ rare foray into lagerdom, since it’s a pretty unspectacular take on the style. Maybe they need more practice? Smells mildly of grain with slight hops. Tastes like a perfectly mediocre pilsner, corny and bitter, not sweet but soulless. A welcome hoppy herbalness pops up in the finish, and the light tartness on the fade shores up the back end. Still uninspiring, though.

33 cl bottle in a restaurant in Seoul. Golden color slightly hazed, big rocky white head. Aroma of pale malts, grassy bittering hops and dough. Medium body soft carb smooth finish. Solid pils-lager with a boost.

Bottle. Clear golden yelliw with large foamy white head, malt aroma, high carbonation, crisp malty taste, abrupt finish. Perfect Pilsner

Bottle from the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - light metallic and spice. Herbaceous too. Taste - more of the same. Sweet but bitter athe the same time, presumably because of the strength. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - decent pils, challenges you a bit.
