Mastri Birrai Umbri’s unfiltered Witbier is crafted in Italy according to the Cotta 21 recipe from a selection of the best Italian spelt and the finest malts. In appearance, it is golden and cloudy with a thick and white head. The rich aroma reveals hints of lemon blossom and summer fruit with spicy undertones. The delicate, smooth flavour of the spelt is accompanied by herbaceous notes from the hops which our master brewers have expertly selected for you.

Cotta 19, from 375ml bottle, at ’Na Pizz, Rimini, Italy. Pours an uninteresting orange with lots of irregular foam. Aroma is fruity and lemony. Body is average, with lots of carbonation, maybe excessive. Taste is sweet and tangy. No bitterness to be found. Finish is uninteresting.

Sample from 75 cl bottle. Clear, golden colour with a thin, white head. Fruity aroma with spicy impressions, pale malts, yeats. Taste is light bitter. Medium bodied. Finishes dry and fruity with spicy hints.

[ As Mastri Birrai Umbri Cotta 21 ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate yeasty, light fruity - flowers. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, fruity malt, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160820]
