Citrusinensis Pale Ale

Fairly hazy golden and peach coloured body with a nice two centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of citrus (duh), tangerines, light grain and malts with a dose of cleanser and pine on the finish with a touch of grass and funkier malt noticeable at the very end. Medium-bodied; Quite assertive citrus and especially a pure orange flavour with a lot of tangerine and even some blood orange/quite bitter notes that show some light sweetness from the fruit, but more of a bitterness and deep quality that hit throughout. Aftertaste shows a relatively good balance of malt and hops with a decidely deep bitterness with the citrus at first, but more of a robust dry and piney flavour that hits at the very end. Overall, a fairly nice and structured APA with the citrus flavours coming out, but enough of a slow burn and moderate complexity to make this beer hit more like a normal APA or a blonde ale even. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Shopper's in Alexandria, Virginia on 21-June-2018 for US$1,67 sampled at home in Washington on 02-August-2018.

Bottle. Cloudy golden yellow with foamy whitish head, faint citrus aroma, low carbonation, bitter orange peel taste, smooth body, long bitter finish. Nice, a bit on the bitter side

Surprised it is a fruit beer. But it odes have juicy hops, some citrus. Moderate hops. Good and refreshing.

Flaska från SB. Gyllengul, med ganska mycket fint sediment och medelhögt vitt skum. Mycket juicig citrus, lätt anslag för sin abv och stor drickbarhet. Lite zestigt citronskal med citrusoljigkaraktär och lätt beska i eftersmaken. Gott

Lys brun klar med høyt hvitt skum. Lukter sitrus og noe mango. Middels fylde. Lett bitterhet. Ren. Smaker sitrus. Middels lang.

0,3 litre Bottle from Systembolaget Charlottenberg. Clear Golden with little white head. Malts, hops and Citrus. Some bitterness. Not my favorite.

Clementine nose. Clear golden, medium head, nice lace. Blood orange. Medium body, easy carbonation, waxy mouthfeel.
