Pours a hazy yellow-gold color with a medium thin white head that burns away steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of grassy wheat, spice and malt. Medium body with flavors of peppery yeast, wheat, coriander and citrus. The finish is fruity and wheaty. Decent overall.

Super hazy golden and orange coloured body with a nice three centimetre tall off-white head that fades somewhat fast, but leaves an ugly lace. Aroma of pure coriander seed, curacao, yeast, wheat and way more yeast - nice and funky with bananas, bubble gum and cloves all evident - very nice smelling. Medium-bodied; Assertive grainy flavour with some earth and pungency from alcohol with a nice dry and yeastie flavour, showing some of the coriander seed and a tiny bit of the curacao, but all the sweetness and fruit flavours seem very well restrained. Aftertaste is more focused on the dry side of things with some malt, bread and especially yeast showing through. Overall, a good wit with a definite dry and herbal style with some pungent flavours that is nice to sample, but doesn’t rate with some of the best from this style, from Belgium. I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 22-July-2016 for US$1,79 sampled at home in Washington on 22-September-2016.

12 oz bottle poured into a tulip. Clear golden orange with about two fingers of off-white head, some tiny floating sediment throughout. Aromas of floral, yeast, herbs. Tastes of floral notes, Belgian yeast, light citrus, wheat, citrus peel, herbs. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Weird combination for me.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a dark golden color with a medium sized foamy off-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was faintly musty and perfumey. The flavor was musty iwth coriander, a bit of funk, perfume and a medicinal note. Long perfume and medicine finish. Moderately full bodied. Ok.

Very little about this beer resembles a traditional wit, as far as I know. That is the most important thing I took from this beer. I could simply leave it at that, but I won’t. Golden pour, pint at Special Brews. Included as part of Lagunitas brewers night. Hop heavy character in both the aroma and flavor. A ton of spice here, but blends in with the hops in a strange yet fitting way. Weird beer, but its growing on me way too fast. I didn’t like it after the first sip. Now I’m interested. Has a vanilla like late hint. Overall, probably the most unique wit I’ve tried in quite some time. I feel like I just complained about all wits being the same in my last wit review. Touche.

12 oz bottle. Pours golden with lots of haze and fine particles and a white head. Strong yeasty aroma, bubble gum and clove. Touch of pear/green apple. Flavor is yeasty, some floral, herbal, spicy hops, touch of wheat. Pretty good.

Bottle from Boise Co-op. Not quite a wit, but it could be under all that yeast and hops. Yeasty aroma, mildly floral, taste follows, more Belgian pale characteristics. Huge fluffy head on pour, not wit-lije at all. But still damn tasty.
