Bottle. Light lemon, yeast, and biscuit malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Lightly sweet lemon, biscuit malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Okay body. Okay but kind of boring.

On Tap at Bier:Thirty Clear tawney amber with a thick dense beige head. Light malt aroma, some toasted notes and somewhat biscuity. Similar flavors, a bit of the woody bite and a mild almst amber trailer. Clean and smooth.

Sample during the "Collaboration Beers on Deck!" tasting on 07/08/2016. Clear golden color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is fruity with hops and malt notes. Light to medium body with flavors of citrus, bready malt and grassy hops. The finish is mildly bitter with a short fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Pours an amber-gold with middling head. Grassy aroma. Flavor has some grass, some roasted grain, maybe a touch of fruit. Not too distinguished.

On tap at Sporty’s. Pours a clear gold with a touch of amber and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has Belgian yeast and sweet citrus with a bread backbone. Flavor has lots of bread with some earthy citrus and a little Belgian yeast.

Bottle from mix pack from Kroger (Rio Hill). Pours clear golden with an inch of soft off-white/beige head. Aroma is slightly sour hay and almost apple. Flavor is slightly sour, slightly tart grasses, earth, yeast. Dry and not a lot to this one.

12 ounce bottle. Amber orange color topped by a moderate fluffy beige head. Sweet bready malt nose. Flavor is sweet malt with bready, biscuit malt and floral hops. Nicely balanced, but with a leaning to the malt side early on. Bitter peppery hops in finish. Nicely done.

12 oz bottle from the variety pack. Thanks for picking this up, brenn79. Aroma is banana custard, bready, faint berry, caramel. Pours clear new penny copper with a good-sized cream-colored head with good retention; leaves curtains of lace. Taste is highly highly bitter and lightly sweet with a light Belgian yeast character. Interesting.

12oz bottle. Copper-orange body, steady off-white head. Interesting bready aroma. I appreciate this one because while it might use Belgian yeast, it isn’t unruly or dominated by it. Brewed well enough and has pleasant malt tones, highly refreshing for 2016. Way hoppier than De Koninck, which I consider the benchmark Belgian Pale Ale, but drinks smooth still. Good.

Bottle from a mix pack from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours Amber with an off-white head. Aroma of fruit and malt. Lightly toasty malt. Med body. Flavor is pale stone fruits and lightly toasty malt. Ok, but the flavors aren’t really strong. Finishes nicely bitter. Which is more than I recalling Fat Tire doing.
