Bottle- pours yellow white head- nose and taste of hops, malt and orange peel- medium body

12 oz. bottle from the mix pack. It pours a clear orange color with a fizzy, disappearing off white head. The aroma has some candy apple and a little toast. The flavor is pretty much the same. Some earthy hops to go along with apple, caramel, toast. No real Belgian yeast to speak of. Kind of sweet too. Really plain and boring. Not a fan.

On tap at The Hay Merchant. Pours a clear copper gold with medium off white head that lasts. The aroma is caramel and earthy malt. Medium mouth, caramel, pine, resin finish, good.

12 ounce bottle into signature globe glass, best before 10/9/2016. Pours slightly hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of apricot, orange zest, pear, apple, light banana, pepper, clove, toasted biscuit, nuttiness, light caramel, herbal, floral, grass, light pine, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, bready malt, and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of apricot, orange zest, pear, apple, light banana, pepper, clove, toasted biscuit, nuttiness, light caramel, herbal, floral, grass, light pine, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/pine bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of apricot, orange zest, pear, apple, light banana, pepper, clove, toasted biscuit, nuttiness, herbal, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, bready malt, and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance and zero astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitter/spiciness, that increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Minimal alcohol warming as expected of 6%. Overall this is a very good Belgian pale ale. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, bready malt, and earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Still maintains nice balance of malt/yeast flavors as expected for the style, just is a bit more hoppy. A very enjoyable offering.

Not good, not bad. Malty.

Bottled May 15th. Hoppy Fat Tire. Decent hop flavour whilst still keeping the Fat Tire original taste. Good.
