Dry-hopped Sour with Italian plum. The beer-drinkers’ rosé. We worked backwards with this one - first came the design, then we reverse-engineered a beer to match.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: a stuffy light looking color with a two finger white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: plums and some semi-sweet yeasty tones, subtle lemon to grassy hops underneath
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fair sour to sweet blend flanked by the tart qualities; mild finish of the plums and sour character
Texture: light to medium bodied, between sessionable and being a sipper, some smoothness but not too much as the sour seems to be hitting a bit more than expected but I'm not appalled
Overall: for the most part, it was a nice plum sour/wild ale I would return to.

Can from the lcbo. Slightly hazy orange pour, with a big off white head. Aroma is tart, soft plum, soft cherry, with some light lactic notes. Soft mouth feel, light carb. Finish is lightly tart, lots of light fruit, a bit dull, but pleasant.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is strong tart fruits with ample tart plum, lacto, stone fruits, citrus, soft wheaty malt, and a touch of dry hopping. Flavour is quite tart and mild sour with a medium body. Typical lacto kettle sour character but I dig them tart plums.

Canned. Deep amber colour with a big reddish foamy head. Aroma is fruity hops, lactose, some dried fruits and figs. Flavour is plum, some tart wood, mild salty tones along with some fruity hops to it. OK, but not very sour nor tart. Still refreshing.

Can at AmeriCANS. Pour a clear slightly earthy yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has tart peach and a bit of sour lemon and straw backing. Flavor has slightly tart plum and some lemon with a straw and grain backbone.
