MBCC 2018. Yellow. Keg. A Theydon Bois whip cracking power rate. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Semi dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Rich spicy dark chocolate, good spicy bourbon. Trace of wood. Light dry finish. Long bourbon and chocolate linger. Slightly fierce but very nice.

Draught at MBCC 2018, yellow session.
Black body, with a medium, creamy, dark beige head.
Amazing aroma of chocolate fudge, sweet spices, coconut, caramel, vanilla, slight coffee.
Tastes pretty similar, extremely rich.
Full, creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes medium sweet, medium roasty, a bit boozy, spicy, with lingering chocolate fudge.
Amazing! Extremely rich and balanced, with a delicious mix of chocolate fudge, spices, smooth sweet notes and just enough roastiness. Outstanding style example!

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is full or rich chocolate with some moderate coffee and coconut notes. Lighter vanilla. Hints of alcohol warmth. Pours black with a small, thick, mocha head that recedes to the edges where it lingers. No lacing and moderately long legs. Flavor is very sweet with lots of chocolate, fudge notes with lighter roast. Moderate coffee notes with lighter coconut and faint vanilla. Moderate bitterness with medium light alcohol spice. Mouthfeel is medium full to full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer but I wish the vanilla and coconut were more prevalent and even the coffee has faded a bit.
