Amber, the original cider, was first hand-filled in our two-car garage back in 1991, delivering a medium body, sweet red apple taste and golden hue.

Old rating. Bottle from Old Town. Musty apple aroma with with some wood as well on the nose. Taste is all apples. A little sweet but not too much so. Not a bad mainstream cider. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Amber Draft Cider on 15 Oct 2017 at 11:22

Once again, this is not beer. I thought this was a \"ratebeer\" site.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a small off white head. The aroma is spice and cinammon. Thin mouthfeel with a sour fruit flavor and crisp finish. Easy to drink, a good cider from Woodchuck.

Pours a crystal clear deep golden color with a decent bubbly bone white head that shows moderate retention and lace. This smells of apple and a hint of sulfur with a little bit of a sugary sweet thing going on. The flavor is like carbonated apple juice to me with a bit of a honey like sugary sweetness. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet almost syrupy mouthfeel. This is kind of like an apple alcopop to me. The label says they use champagne yeast which would make this bone dry, so its obvious that this is back sweetened to the hilt after fermentation. Overall decent flavor, but not something I would normally reach for.

Bottle. No head. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are apples, notes of sugar and notes of alcohol. Refreshing and semi sweet with a semi dry finish.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours dark yellow, like apple juice, with almost no head. Aroma of sweet red apples. Taste is medium-heavy sweet. Again, like apple juice. Light bodied with a somewhat sticky texture. Fizzy carbonation and not much of a finish. Overall, not bad. The only suggestion I would have would be to make the alcohol stand out a bit more. I feel like I’m drinking straight apple juice.
