Stepping up to the podium, Brettanomyces collects his notes; fragments of ideas on melody, thematic development, recapitulation, mutation, thematic variation, restatement, and so on. Water, Hops, and Malted Barley sit first, second and third chair. The toasted oak walls await the sonic wort, anticipation fills the hall. The whole room watches, bated breath, as the Maestro, wiping phenol, guaiacol, and isovaleric acid off his brow, raises the baton and begins…

This is a Lagunitas-ified version of a traditional Farmhouse ale, aged in red wine oak barrels and funkied up with Brettanomyces yeast. It’s a golden saison-sour with a nice tartness that leaves your buds quenched and wanting more. Proost!

Pours clear gold into a shaker. White head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Sour tropical fruit aromas. Sharp with sweet and sour cherry, apricot and citrus upfront. Mild earth finish.

On draught at WOB Easton during the "WOB 5 Year Anniversary Bash" on 11/10/2017. The beer pours a clear reddish-gold color with a medium thin white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lace. Aroma of funky yeast, fruit and oak. Medium body with flavors of herbal yeast, funky fruit and malt. The finish is fruity with a mildly funky yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sampled on draft at 3 Rivers this beer poured a dark copper color with a small foamy white head that left no lacing. The aroma was strong with mustiness, medicine, band aid and phenol. Simply awful! The flavor was tart and sour with medicine, chalk, perfume, astringency and vague fruit. Very long finish. Moderately full bodied. Terrible.

15th Dec 2017, draft in the Stadium Brewery, Aliso Viejo. Clear golden body, wispy head. Sour and not my thing really, fruit tart that has gone off sort of aroma and taste. Scored objectively.

I think the brewmaster gave this to Junior and didn't check back on them with a progress. It's kind of a sweet tart fruity beer with some maybe creamy lactose in there or something it's just an odd, inappropriate flavor profile for a Saison beer.

12ooz bottle. Red(assumably) wine barrel saison. Orange-pink-purple body. Fading head. Biting and bitter on some levels, vinous. The filtration keeps it drinkable and clean. Pretty well executed on some levels, but also just tastes like they did a wine and saison mix, and I'm not sure why you would ever want that. An OK beverage I suppose, is what it is.

12 ounce bottle. Amber orange pour. Frothy beige head. Tart, yeasty nose. Funky, yeasty notes upfront. Notes of oak, citrus, hay and kiwi. Interesting dynamic. Brett, oak and citrus. What a concept.

Bottle from Brewers Haven. Orange Ruby color, small fizzy head disappears. Looks like wine. Tart aroma, grapes. Taste is mildly sweet and tart, kind of weak actually. If this is a said on, it's way off.
