The key to brewing this style of beer is the balance, highlighting the relationship between malt and hop. We use a malt base that keeps the body clean, and also stands up to the brightness of the Warrior, Azacca, and Citra hop combination in this American Pale Ale.

On tap at Fat Bottom, pours a clear golden blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out floral hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is similar, with soft floral hopping, a light dank, herbal character, and dry biscuity malt. Clean and decently balanced, but nothing interesting. Meh.

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a clear gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Lemon, overripe orange, herbal aromas. Creamy on the palate, dill, air freshener on the palate. Dry and herbal with a buttery character on the palate. Kind of weird, not a fan. --- Beer merged from original tick of W.A.C. on 22 Dec 2017 at 21:58 - Score: 5.
