Draft. A black beer with a beige head: The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, bread, and raspberries. The flavor is sweet with notes of raspberries, roasted malt, caramel, bread, and alcohol, leading to a dry finish. Very complex.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, Aarhus. Pours very dark reddish brown with a small creamy offwhite head, lacings. Aroma of rich sweet malt, caramel, raspberries, wood, light tartness, vanilla, bourbon, alcohol. Flavor is rich malt, caramel, vanilla, wood, tart, raspberries, bourbon, booze. Medium to full body, soft carboantion, light acidic finish with lots of warming alcohol. 310316

Tap @ Mikkeller, Aarhus. Nice head with good duration. Color is close to black. Aroma and taste are rich raspberries, bourbon, wood, vanilla, malt, caramel and little hops. Nice sour fruity finish.

Tap @ Mikkeller, Aarhus. Hazy very dark red brown with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, raspberries, wood and bourbon. Flavor is very sweet, rather bitter and moderate acidic. Dry, rather bitter and moderate acidic finish with lots of warming alcohol. 290316

From tap. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is overripe fruity and dark malty and roasted. Citric, raspberry, sulphorish and dark malty. Velvet vanilla and raspberry fruity into the finish. Lingering alcohol , raspberry citric and dark malty far finish.
