Can shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a cloudy deep brown to black with a finger of tan foam that dissipates. Lots of bourbon, coffee, and vanilla oak in the nose, with fudge-like brownies. Palate has more of the same. Creamy and full-bodied flavor. Chewy brownies with bourbon and coffee. Finish is sweet, but the bourbon balances things out a bit. Nicely done.

On draught at the Hoof Hearted Brewpub and Kitchen, and beer #100 from this brewery. Brown-black color with a medium tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of bourbon, roast malt, coffee and vanilla. Full-bodied with flavors of bourbon, oaky-vanilla, coffee, malt and vanilla. The finish is boozy vanilla mocha. There is a lot going on here but it comes together nicely, very good beer all around.

16oz can side by side with the base, pours a murky black with some beige head. Nose has chocolate covered peanuts, vanilla, maple, chocolate syrup, cinnamon. Flavor has much more maple, chocolate ice cream, caramel, coconut. Finishes sweet and sticky. An improvement over the base, but not an elite beer.

Can into a snifter showing brown to ruby brown and sparse white foam lacing. The nose shows pronounced notes of maple and coffee. The palate is medium bodied and well carbonated. Maple forward with moderately intense notes of bourbon, vanilla, and coffee. Barely any bitterness. Moderately alcohol spiciness.

Can. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong maple, roast, vanilla, oak, bourbon. Medium body, similar flavors to nose, nice sweetness, light booze, very nice.
