Defender of the intergalactic downtrodden, conqueror of bad beers and long-winded evildoers, Galactica soars with ease from one star system to the next. Her dual-hop staff disperses justice, freedom, and intense hop flavor. Dry hopped with Galaxy Hops, this Double IPA balances a hop profile of light bitterness and notes of tropical fruit, citrus, and pine with a clean malt backbone.

2018-10-18, can from Total Wine, Houston, 7-4-7-3-15=36
Golden colour, hazy. Weird aroma, cow dung, fermented hay; not bad, just not expected. Good malt base, a lot of hay, grains. Good.
2015-12-08, bottle from Firefly, Vancouver
Hazy, or cloudy, bright copper color with compact head. The aroma is not very fresh, there is some hop, resins, orange peel, and a hint of vegetables. Thee mouthfeel is bold, lean, soft; moderately sweet, nice malt and caramel flavor (a bit old style on this), and a strong orange peel hopping.
Good beer, maybe not fresh.

On tap at Iron Tap. Pours a clear amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount of resinous pine with a bit of grapefruit and a light sweet grain backbone. Flavor has bitter pine and grapefruit throughout with some resin in the finish.
