Bottle, 8%. Hazy amber with medium off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, caramel, peach, hop, old hop and a little grapefruit. Flavour is malt, fruit, caramel, peach, medium sweet, little toasted, little old hop, little pine, grapefruit and medium bitter.

Bottle. Thanks to Mr.Orla. Pours hazy Dark golden with a creamy head. Orange, pine and bready malts. Bitter and hoppy okay but a tad too malty. Smooth and dry.

Bottle from Kihoskh, Copenhagen - pours orange with a white head. Aroma and taste is tropical fruity, grapefruit, pineapple, citrus peel, some caramel sweetness creeping in, pine needles into a bitter finish. Nice drop.

12 oz bottle. Pours amber with full head. Really nice aromas of toffee, tropical fruit, raw rubber, and toasted malts. Flavors are similar but muffled - maybe old? (No date code.) Light alcohol finish. Note to self - try a known fresh bottle...

Draught at Zinc Bistro, 6/28/15
I will preface this review by saying maybe this beer was possibly old? Hard to believe it could taste this bad, yet the restaurant is a very high volume place with only 5 taps and 3 bottles so how slowly could literally the only craft beer in house sell?
Amber liquid is deep and shows dark copper tints with an off-white head that is very well-retained.
Very little aroma here: mostly candied orange-like cascade and caramel malt interplay. Some light iced tea, bits and pieces of piney hoppiness yet no real resin. Sweetness building with warming; quite sticky and toffee/caramel-like. Very dry citrus fails to unfold in to anything aromatically pleasing. No alcohol or flaws.
Flavor is about as straight-up stewed hops as it gets. Mix in some too sweet caramel maltiness and you’ve got yourself a miserably sweet, overly bitter, astringent and hop-flavorless "Imperial IPA". More like an aged barleywine, but that’s neither here nor there. Sticky, borderline syrupy malts blunt the palate even as the carbonation attempts, yet fails, to clear the finish. Vegetal and heavily citric hop notes have absolutely no finesse and the beer fatigues the palate quickly. Hopefully will try this again some time and be proven wrong.

Good stuff. Lots of citrus and light pine. A good amount of resin. Bitter finish. Orange poor with OK head. Tap at meridian pint.

Merged rating between bottle from The Drinkery (2015) and can (Best By 1/31/21) pour from The Lazy Dog Beer Shoppe. Appearance is hazy light brown with attractive sparkle, finger-width off-white foamy head with excellent retention and nice leggy lacing. Aroma is caramel/bready malts, mild pineapple and pine; hint of lemon. Taste is strong pine over bready backbone. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, in 2021 this definitely feels old school. Nice nuances to the aroma. Taste isn't quite as interesting. Well made.

Poured from bottle deep orange with a one finger head. Aromas of pine dank citrus and slight hint of floral notes. Taste is bitter with caramel and citrus tones.
