Classic British Bitter. Toasted malt flavors from the British base malt, light apple esters from the British yeast, low grassy/floral flavors from the British hops, plus a crisp bitterness at the end.

Named for our mascot, Cheeky Pete is a classic example of the original British session ale. Toasty malt and a balanced bitterness combine with a light British hop character to make a beer you want to have more than one of.

Golden yellow with small head. Toffee malt and straw aroma. Moderately sweet cherry, toffee malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body.

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a clear brown with a small beige head that dissipates. Fresh baked bread crust, light earth aromas. Mineral on the palate, dry and clean. Maybe a tad thin and watery. Easy drinking though. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cheeky Peat Ordinary Bitter on 16 Feb 2018 at 21:26 - Score: 6. Original review text: Fresh baked bread crust, light earth aromas.
