Farmhouse with Grungeist hops. All of the ales in our ism- series focus on single hop. The current version features Grungeist, a new German hop cultivar that produces a blend of lemon, peach, and peppery floral essence in the finished brew. This golden Saison is layered and zesty with honey notes from the fermentation. Crisp and smooth, it’s a beautiful example of the single-hop Farmhouse style.

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a clear light, straw color with a lingering finger of white foam. Mustard seed, dill, oak, lemon aromas. Lightly tart, honey, coriander notes on the palate. Great carbonation and creamy mouthfeel. Smooth, creamy oak, peppercorn and hay. Stellar example of a saison. I could drink this all day.

Sample at the taproom during the "Apologize Less / Skin & Bone Double Release" event on 04/20/2018. Hazy yellow-gold color with a medium thin white head that burns away steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of citrus, yeast, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of peppery yeast, citrusy hops and malt. The finish is fruity with a floral hoppy aftertaste. Above average overall.
