Just after opening our brewery, working long nights, weekends, and still working our day jobs, my brother Daniel (the brewer) had twins. Cheers to his courage and dedication to making better beer.
Flavor Profile: Aromas of orange, apricot, tangerine, and passionfruit. Notes of pine and grass with malt sweetness.
Hops: Falconer’s Flight, Simcoe

50 ml. bottle, bottled March 14, enjoyed April 5. Mostly clear golden yellow color. Rocky white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma’s: lovely citrus. Retronasal it’s citrussy, grainish/malty, earthy hopbitter. Moderate bitter & citrussy sour flavor. Light bodied. Finishes earthy bitter. Nice, but not the best I’ve had from Maine.

Clear blond beer, creamy irregular off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of sweet malts, caramel, fruit, cereals. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very bitter start, citrus, pretty fruity, grapefruit, somewhat malty. Aftertaste: very fruity, grapefruit, slightly sweet, malts, citrus, bit piny, pineapple, some more cereals. Lovely APA!

$7.49 bottle from Whole Foods, CHO. What’s a better medicine to fight a sore throat than beer? I suppose a stronger alcohol, but I’m not going there (today). Pours only slightly hazy golden with a large, frothy off-white head. I smelled it as soon as the cap was coming off - it wasn’t even off when the aroma hit me. Yummy grapefruit, peach, light pineapple in the nose. Flavor is bittersweet grapefruit, clementine, pineapple, pine, and some toasted bread in the back end. Good stuff.

Tap into a snifter showing bright yellow honey and half a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows juicy notes of tropical fruit - mango, lime, passion fruit, and light kiwi. The palate is light bodied and moderately carbonated. Perfect balance of juicy fruit and clean malt with a barely perceivable bitterness on the finish. Same fruit flavors on the palate.
