This is like having French toast with vanilla ice cream doused in maple syrup. Definitely a diabetes stout, but a damn good one. My pancreas can handle it.

Bottle at Epic Stout Tasting. Black with beige head. Quite a bit of maple, slightly salty umami going on. Sweet chocolate, coconut, vanilla.

Bottle shared at Andrew's B-day bash. Pours a thick and viscous pitch black with no head. Huge vanilla, fudge brownie nose with liquid chocolate fudge aromas. All kinds of chocolate and sweet cake icing notes. Light maple on the finish as it warms, but this is a pastry stout to the extreme. On tap at Wakefest. Pours black with medium tan head that lasts. The aroma is an intense maple, dark chocolate, brownie, fudge. Thick body, maple, fudge, cocoa, very sweet, enjoyed this.

(Tap sample @ CBC 2016 Red Session, Copenhagen) Pours black with a dark beige head. Notes of sweet chocolate and maple syrup at the core, dark caramel malt, ripe dark fruit, moderate coffee, fair amount of vanilla, high sweetness only slightly offset by the moderate bitterness in the finish even though there's a decent amount of roast. Persistent notes of chocolate, light coffee and maple. Medium-full body, especially for the ABV, soft carbonation. Very nice and rich for a relatively low-alcohol stout, it's pretty sweet for drinking in any volume despite having much more depth of flavour than some sugary stouts.

Draught@CBC2016. Black colour, small head. Aroma is fudge, toffee, maple syrup, some liquorice and quite strong on vanilla too. Flavour is liquorice, vanilla, toffee, some ripe fruits, raisins and mild syrup notes.
